you know the old saying, "saved by the bell?"

back in the old days, people used to be buried with a string around their fingers. that string was connected to a bell above their casket.

just in case the doctors were wrong pronouncing the person dead... they would wake up and pull the string notifying someone that they are still alive.

That's some scary ish.... Why couldn't they have identified the body by his dental records? Isn't that another way of identifying an extremely mutilated body.
