Made it home

Hew!

God damn steering wheel came of like 4 times. I almost had a heart attack!

Car runs good. Definetely more torque. My turbo will be happy.

6-spd is amazing. I cannot wait to start mashing on it.

Oh well, few more hundred miles, then get it tuned, painted and off to the track I go.

Thanks to all who came today.

Thanks to Josh for following me most of the way home to make sure my tranny doesnt fall off the car.

Thanks thanks thanks!

Wow that sounds pretty scary alex. I hope there isn't any problems with your steering wheel.

BTW what kind of Steering wheel did you get? Are you still using the stock one?

hopefully everthing is going well for you.

LOL!

what making the clanking noise when you pulled up? something loose underneath?

Well, i hope you get it turned, so it runs smoothly, and maybe then you can give a ride in it...

when does the turbo spool up now?

Yeah, stick a stocker out of my Legacy without a nut, so it comes off ala NASCAR.

The clunking noise if from the clutch plates. Thats normal. All tiwn plates do that.

A vice grip wrench makes an excellent redneck stearing wheel! Glad you made it!

LOL, I saw a dude in some early 60s convertible two door driving over HWY 19 using two vice-grips latched on to the steering shaft to steer. simply unbelievable.
