im sad to say my #1 pick is out for 4-6 weeks [MAYBE 3 games] due do a broken bone in his foot. Shaun Alexander is added to the list of players hurt due to being on the cover of Madden.

same here. I knew I should have taken johnson or LT.

****. I can pretty much kiss my chances of doing well in that league goodbye.

my number one pick has been injured for AT LEAST 4 weeks every single freakin year.

That sucks for you guys. Just to brag a little, but my kicker Kasay got me 20 points in my league. It was more luck than anything becasue my usual kicker had a bye last week and I just picked up the best kicker I could find.

Now with Steve Smith and TJ Hous back in full action I can actually have a decent recieving core.

I have no running backs.

One one of my teams they are all injured in some form or another and iffy for the games. Yeah for me.

The other league I might be alright for a while.

I wonder if someone would actually decline being on the cover because of this curse.

pretty sure it's already happened.

Isn't barry sanders the only guy that it didn't apply to?

The first player on the cover of Madden was Eddie George in 99, I think, and since then every player on the cover has been hurt. It actually applied to Terrell Owens when he was on the cover of NFL 2K5 also. I think they should go away with the players on the front. No one buys the game just for that.

I was new to fantasy football and football in general. I had the #3 pick or something. I drafted Priest Holmes and I didn't handcuff Larry Johnson to my roster. Imagine how that went when I realized I missed my chance at picking up LJ. So I was screwed for most of the season, but at least I had Portis and Caddy (but he was hurt for a couple weeks, then took a while to regain confidence again. Ugh.).

This season, I just had bad luck. Last weekend, someone started Rex Grossman. This weekend, someone started Javon Walker.
