Yes, I especially love the part about the GTR where you can't go over 111 mph without Nissan's permission. So if you want to do a track day, you have to disable the speed limiter via the GPS unit (but it has to be on an approved race track). After the track day, you HAVE to visit the Nissan dealer for a $1000 safety check or else your warranty is void.

Of course, rumor has it the US version won't have this "feature". But the fact that a car of this caliber has such a thing is just absurd.

GTR's ARE F'n WORTHLESS!
car companies dont get anything right do they!!! They sell out performance heritage lines to appeal to families or be more luxurious, and when they dont (GTR) they still find a way to screw it up!
Thats why Mazda will always RULE! The Miata has always been true, and the RX8 just needs another rotor to have it keep up

"Very well said indeed.
Anytime a discussion starts to give credit to a competitor of m3, the thread vanishes, as we have seen with the ISF thread, 997S thread and the GTR thread.
I do hope that an administrator who has higher powers than the moderators will look into the situation and allow us the members of the forum to discuss the competitors of the m3, and compare these cars to the m3.
That is the only way we can get a better understanding of why the m3 is better or not, afterall we are all sharing a common passion, we share the same interest in m3, and we want to make the right decision if we decide to plunk down 60-70K $(in USA) and much much more in other countries."

yeah while he listens to romance novels on tape
yeah shows like this and Top Gear should eventually make their way over here, but more diluted and geared toward american culture. ie. it wont be as comprehensive and tech savvy; it will be more about big muscle cars, bling, and how cool it makes posers and soccer moms look. alot of good US shows originate in the UK like The Office, Three's Company, and a slew of reality show concepts. the UK tv production industry is very creative and "has their $h1t together"
