yeah...anyone ever taken a "lunch" break and not made it to "lunch?"

I still have my lunch on my desk...but I have a bottle of wine in my belly.

suppose I could get fired...but **** it I say!!! I hate this place.


what are your views on mid work day booze?

shoot...I work in the city man..there is no shortage of places to go get sauced at.

Right across the street is this dope irish place...the Irish Bank. And this place called the Bleu Bar or something like that...that's where I just came from. Nice place. Good wine. Damn good bloody mary's.

rau...good for you....screw the man. I go in for another interview/meeting...might be putting in my 2 week notice next week. been working for the man for 7 years and they treat me like ****. I'm the bottom of the totem pole purely based on personal opinion..not performance...as I umm...have the best numbers out of anyone in the nation. helped this damn company make well...WELL over a billion dollars. ****in bastards. I just got offered on a project that will take 6 months and be worth 1.2 billion...I said no. Screw em. Let them assign my 200 plus projects a year to someone else.

once a week a few co workers and i head down to sutter station aKa the Sutter gutter on market. nothing beats playing a round of pool and throwing back a few drinks while your on your lunch break.

as for today.... I took the advice. I just got back from the Irish Bank. My fingers are numb. but screw it...I got an hour to go and I killed half my day in the bar....and I'm killin the next hour on something else.
