LOTR2: The Two Towers
Are they going to release a special edition like they did w/ the first movie. I bought the movie then bought it again when they put out the special edition.
I saw the previews also. Can't wait!

I hate both of them so far!...but then again I am a huge fan of the books, I have read them a ton. I absolutely detest the changes that have been made to some of the characters...That being said I do like however the visuals, and golum was done well. I realy would like to meet Peter Jackson, It would almost be worth the jail time to beat him up.

Oh come one Rob!!
I've read the trilogy at least 5 times and I think the movies are great!
Yeah they're different, but not so much that you have to HATE them.
I think Peter Jackson did a great job overall in bringing across the epic feel of Middle Earth to the cinema. When I think of how many ways they could have screwed it up I'm very very impressed with the movies.
Maybe you need to autocross again? Blow off some steam? LOL

We need to get a BAIC marathon! 13 hours of LOTR in the theatre! Who can last that long?

the DVD release of the Two Towers will follow the same as they did last year. It comes out November 19 i believe. I don't have a calender in front of me but chances are it'll be on a tuesday.
the stuff they showed on the new disc that will be part of the special edition look cool as all hell. Although i wished i almost hadn't. It would had been a cool suprize.
And because so much story plot was cut out of the two towers. that return of the king will be over 3.5 hours long. The special edition of that will be well over 4 hours.
Now me biggest complaint. Peter Jackson and company are still not surehow they are going to end the whole thrilogy. Either do the right thing (my opinion) and follow the book. Or change it for a more heart felt ending. I can't say whay they are talking about doing, Just in case someone here hasn't read the books even watched the animated version. They've made sooooo many changes most of which i have been very upset about, but please at lease allow the ending to stay the same.
