loose tophat nut thing

So I've had this problem for a few months now with my prodrive wr sport suspension I guess after a few years of it being on the car the rear nuts came lose, so you can hear them moving up and down in the rear when I go over bumps, kinda sounds like there's something rolling around in my trunk, when I try to tighten the nut it won't tighten, it just keeps turning and turning, I have no idea how to fix it, can anyone help ? Tia

I use a pass-through socket and ratchet, combined with the proper hex wrench, and tighten it down no problem.

The towel trick is not the best way, it's a PITA. do it the proper way with a pass-through
