looking for a welder

i'm looking for somewhere or someone who can make a strong weld for me. i need a new bolt handle welded onto the bolt body of my rifle. anyone know of where i can have this done in san leandro? thanks.

stop, do not just "have it welded" you are going to kill the temper on the bolt.

I need some info, what kind of rifle, why is the handle removed, what are you attempting to replace it with.

I have done a few, but you must be VERY careful or it will ruin the bolt.

it's a mosin nagant. sticking a ati bent bolt onto it. i would just put the screw on, but i don't like the idea of a screw holding it on.

If you have it cut and tapped right, that "screw" holds it very nicely. Make sure you use "red" loctite and be double sure you folow the procedure for drilling and tapping.

I have done 3 Mauser that way, and they work just fine.
