Isn't the 07 ecu architecture kinda weird too? I seem to remember a tuner telling me that the 07 has the worst ecu/factory tune and the 06 has the best.

Not sure, I know I lost the sodium filled exhaust valves, but my car has "redesigned heads for improved flow".

Dunno, where, and what does it look like? I also have the retarded second turbo smog air pump of doom.

Can someone tell me how to make multiple quotes in one post? I feel like a frosted flake replying to each one.

The 04-06 had variations on the same tune, whereas the 07 has a much more complicated system with a bunch of extra tables and factors to deal with. When I first started driving my STi I knew that it felt very different from the 04 I test drove. (If it was an 05 I would have bought that. I was just not down with the narrower wheels, steel lateral links, no radio, funktastic steering wheel, no climate control, ect) Anyway, coming from a 99 Si, I was used to having nothing down low and a big rush up top. But man, was my car embarrassing in parking lots, hump a bumpa humpa bumu bump. Yeesh. A cobb accessport, then the protune From Mike at GST that I won at last years BAM = more better!

But yeah, the stock tune sucked, even after the reflashes from the dealer.

Click on the "", button on the ones you want to select. That will highlight them then when you're ready to reply click on the quote button and it will bring in the highlighted posts.

example: You want to reply to post 2, 4, 5 and 10

click on the "". button on post 2,4, 5 and click on the quote button on post 10.

This car has been for sale for months, I know as I've been looking for a used STI for at least 4 months but finally found the right car (a 1 owner WRB Stage 2 '07) at the right price last weekend in Modesto. PM me if you want the low down dirty pricing details on my purchase.

That 17K mile '07 SWP STI on Craig's List is overpriced at $27K and it appears as if the owner's either stubborn or he really doesn't want to sell it, otherwise it would have sold by now if priced correctly or he was willing to negotiate.

It's worth about $24K based on the Autoniq Black Book National wholesale prices if it's truly Xclean. Will he get that in this market, I dunno, I probably would have gone 23 and change, but just reading his ad you can tell he's in love with the car and doesn't want to let it go.

I just traded an 05 STi in at Fremont Ford for $15k. It had 71400mi on it and was in great condition (no accidents or issues). They may still have it for close to that price. Good car, silver (PSM).

I have rectified all of the above
I would NOT want a Torsen Diff in the rear... You know Subaru's like to 3-wheel motion right?!

Haha, I just see at least one on the lot every time I pass by...at that price, it's probably always the same one!
