The turbo is oil and water cooled. As far as how much power this turbo will support, if the TD06-20G is any indicator, I would expect well in excess of 500 CHP on a 2.5L w/ C16. However, I would expect that the peak efficiency of the turbo would be around 480-500 CHP on about 103 octane.

man I can't wait to try this thing on my wrx, call me crazy but a little lag never hurt anyone as long as i can get power by 4000-4200 i'm happy.

It should work fine on the TR, they just want STI's for obvious reasons I would assume.
