Looking for a second job

Anybody know of anyone in the Bay Area who is hiring for part-time? I need a second job or the time being.

I saw fedx has some driver helper jobs open.. part time. And UPS has some stocking jobs open... AM. 6 hours a day.

I applied for both and 2 different spots.

Damn, that blows.

I had a job once for a month. I quit a job that I'd been at for over 7 years. Took a $35k a year pay cut. They got a BUNCH of work out of me and made a bunch of money. Soon as I finished they cut me loose. Awesome!

The new job was $22 an hour. The old one was just over $34 an hour plus bonus' and overtime. I think I cleared about $65k through August when I quit. So I was on pace for an easy $80k since Sept and August are the biggest months and I just got asked to work on a $1.3billion dollar deal.

Miss that money! haaaaa.

Now I make jack! Been laid off since March of last year. Though I did just bill out 3 hours of work at $45/hr. So hopefully that'll keep up and this other bid we're working on will come through. That'll be $25/hr for 6 weeks basically.

Man I need to earn some money. I hate this crap.

You sure this is Fedex? Ground or Express? They have never had driver helper positions before. UPS, however, always has driver helper positions during peak.

I used to get jobs at the local independent Christmas tree lots. They paid cash, and I always got a free tree. Only down side was the pay, like 12$ an hour.

a couple of my buddies work at a tree lot and they always tell me how much they make from the tips. they make an hourly rate of $12/hr but they say they easily make $200 in tips on saturdays alone.
