Looking for a really good steakhouse. Recommendations?

I have some friends flying in from out of town later on today and wanted to take them out to a nice steakhouse for dinner. Something more upscale than Outback, Black Angus, etc. Does anyone have any favorites or recommendations?

Nothing too far from SFO please.

House of Prime Rib. Damn good, carved at your table.

It's on Van Ness, but worth the drive for the ambiance and good food.

You could always marinate and barbeque your own steaks

I highly recommend the Ribeye. This was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten.

my 3 recommendations are all on van ness in SF

Harris
House of Prime
Ruth Chris

house of prime though strictly the prime rib.

harris looks like it has better reviews than ruth chris, but we are talking 4.5/5 vs 4/5

Someone suggested Broadway Prime was pretty good. Never been there. Does anyone have an opinion about that restaurant?

Mortons is good, but EPIC would be my fav in SF. Much better view as well since its right on the water right near the BB.
