Looking for a Puppy

Like the title says Looking for a med size dog for the family, been searching around thought I'd start a thread, trying to get one before Christmas comes. Willing to pay a reasonable price Breed really doesn't matter too much, no chow's or pitbulls

Thanks for Looking

Yeah, and adopting should be the way to go, I think the fee is like 150-200 and that takes care of everything you need, google san francisco spca.

I actually had a fox many, many years ago, back when I lived in Germany... we rescued him from someone who was going to use him to train his hunting dogs. Even though they can become quite tame if you get them at a young enough age, be well advised that it is not a domesticated animal! You can't take the wild out of them, regardless of training. Ours was completely potty-trained (used a kitty litter box), yet tore up the house and furniture something fierce! Foxes have needle-sharp teeth that they will use gratuitously - not only on inanimate objects, but on you and your family members. Unless you have orange crates for furniture, I would advise against the idea. I'm also not sure that it would be possible or even legal to acquire a fox here in CA.

+1 for adoption. more dogs arent needed, more houses for the dogs already born are needed. Most likely though an adoption place isnt going to adopt during the holiday season for many different reasons.

oh, and I'd research different breeds. Every breed has its quirks and things you need to know.
