Who needs advice?!

He could've just walked in, pulled up the book or the little computer thing.. got the part number for the Sylvania bulb he needed, and he's done.

But no, he calls a dealership because if he doesn't get a subaru bulb he's going to feel less complete.

Thanks for the clarification between bulb #'s and part #'s.
Just ask for me next time.

No worries on the # deal.

Yea, I'll probably do that next time. When he gave me the price of 1.44 I questioned and asked again "2003 wrx driver side tail light for a sedan, the inner, single filament bulb is that cheap?" He said yep. When I got a 6.50ish price from Capitol + LICMotorsports sayin around 7 bux, that to me sounds like the same part i'm speaking about =P.

Just look up the bulbs here next time:

(make sure you bookmark it)

It's much easier that way. Or you can take the bulb out and find a match at any local automotive parts store.

How many forum members does it take to replace a light bulb...

ha ha <raises hand and says pick me pick me> I agree I am a tard/bonehead too, sorry for not giving clarifications on the bulb # differences from SOA and general auto stores (kragen, napa, etc...). I saw a post saying looking for "x bulb #" and I responded with the basic bulb # as I have never bought a light bulb like that from a dealer (wouldn't even of crossed my mind to........no offense, lol)

Unit 91 = a wealth of knowledge

Tail light bulb just stays lit with the light switch on the on position and stop light bulbs are the dual filament ones that light up when the brake is depressed or light switch is on.
