I'm half way through installing a grimmspeed MBC (for response, not max boost - save me the lecture) and don't quite know where to mount it. I really want to get it under the black plastic cover for the EBC and other harnesses right between the air box and passenger strut tower. Does anyone know of a tricky way to mount this thing out of sight? Is there a resistor mod for the oem EBC so I can remove that and put the MBC in that location?

you should still be able to stick under there with the oem one... if not try under the wind shield wiper cover. there is a lot of space and you can connect wires,or hoses to it in there..

 

I managed to tuck it in the original location. It's just tricky because you need something firm to mount it to without pinching any of the hoses. I mounted it with a slight upward angle to clear the EBC harness. You can bolt down a rubber padded support clamp from the same bolt that the EBC is mounted to.

 

You 02-03 guys are lucky having that cover, I'd really like to pick one up at a salvage yard to cover my MBC. Looks good.
