is there a differnece between USDM STi headlamps and JDM STi headlamps? (other than left and right hand drive patterns)

Actually the triangular amber piece in the USDM is clear in the JDM..........but you can't really see it anyway, 600 bucks for a clear triangle that you can't see unless you're right up against the light..................

 

 

Just clear them out yourself.. Its not hard to do.. And will save you about $600

 

yeh. clear em. i'm going to clear mine once i get the time. i may suggest silvervision bulbs. they loook pretty good.

 

for those of us with non STI's. There is a nice difference. HID.

that and the housing is darker...black chrome. And there's not amber as stated earlier. Much much nicer looking than the non STI 04 lights.

If you've got the cash...it's worth it in my opinion.

As for clearing..no way in hell. You know how many foggy headlamps I've seen in my day. Not on my car man. No way.

I may be getting some of these myself. You can get non HID. JDM for around $400. Least you used to be able too.

As for the price...Your price is great. I doubt you'll see anything cheaper than that. I mean vivid is selling them for more than $100 more than that.

You might ask Gruppe-s what their price is. That's who I contacted and they said they can get them if I want them. Special order.

But I'd venture to guess your price is about as good as you'll see...don't loose out on it if you really want these lights.
