Well that bites the big one. I've had that happen to me too when I lived in Jersey. The bad thing is you'll be finding little shards of glass here and there forever no matter how hard you try to get it all. Sorry to see that.

Again, I am so sorry....where did this happen (city)?

The car looks like it's in a garage. Did they do this $hit while it was in your garage??

pig-fsckers like that ought to get glock-slapped, and then stuffed into an industrial clothes dryer with five boxes of drywall screws and a couple of broken forties, and get left on the spin cycle for a couple of hours. low down dirty theivin' bastids!

I know how that sucks.

When it happened to me, my stereo was stolen by morons. They decided to open the car by prying the lock out of the door. WIth a screwdriver it looked like. It didn't really work that well (as in, it must have taken them half an hour from all the damage they did) and really screwed up the door. The police said it was about the least competent stereo theft they had seen.

So, it sucks, but look at it this way: it's a good excuse to get a good aftermarket unit. Ok, it didn't make me feel much better either. I got a better car alarm too.

how much was the damage? Just the window and the HU? Hope you didn't have too expensive of a stereo on there. At least they left you the trim and your single-din pocket ...

Ahh that sucks Sorry about your car man. My friend's camry had its window broken while we were bowling. Nothing was stolen. Another car's window was also broken there as well.

Cops arrived, didn't do anything about it, and my friend ended up paying to replace the whole window. Stupid insurance didn't cover it.
