Thumbs down Local wheel repair?

Is there a local machine shop that does wheel repair? I live in San Francisco and work in Burlingame.

fyi, if you bent just the lip, the chances are that they will have to repaint the whole wheel just to fix it. this is because they use a flame torch to heat and soften up the bend. i had this happen to me when i bent a gold ssr, and the shops i went to could not guarentee that they could repaint the ssr gold the correct shade of gold so i decided to just sell them. man its such a pain when you get a bent wheel, unless its a cheap replaceable rota

Gotta love Rotta's

See, now that's why I went with Rotta's. You bend a rim or break one, and for the same amount or less that it would cost to get a more expensive rim fixed, you get a brand new Rotta.

Wheels America did a pretty good job with my slightly bent wheel. Flat rate and 24hr turnaround time too.

"The Wheel Guy" in Novato fixed my gold BBS's. They were just curbed but I think he can fix bent rims also. The paint he ordered was not as metallic as stock but he did a great job mixing a better match. It's not perfect but very close. My only complaint was he did the job on the car and oversprayed my fender with a very fine mist of gold paint which made my bodywork slightly "matt", I used cutting paste to remove and all is well. I would ask them to remove the wheel next time. $125 per wheel.
