Tommy, are the NGK's Iridiums and Coppers properly gapped for the WRX? Or are they gapped too much like the normal platinums that NGK offers, which are made for the EJ25 @ .044"? I may swing by there tomorrow and pick up a set if they are gapped properly(between .028-.031").

even if they are not gapped within tolerance....dont forget that spark plug gaps ARE changeable....just pick up a S.P. gapping guage

Ted,

I know this, thanks. I did that for my NGK's that are one step colder in the car now. But I have read a little about when the gaps are changed, it tilts the probe over too much, and it doesn't get an even spark. Especially since you are tilting it .016". That is why I would like to try out a set of pre-gapped plugs and install them before the dyno day.

Most of the NGKs are pre-gapped to .027. Even though it tilts the probe when you change the gap, I don't think it'll make a big difference. My car hasn't blown up yet *knock on wood*
