A little help, how do i take off the fenders?
I think I am going to buy a new fender and put it on myself and get it painted from a shop. How do I take off the fender? The direction I have so far is to take off my sideskirts (are there bolts for taht too or just plastic clips?) ...open the door and get an extension to take off those bolts ( so i dont have to take the doors off?), open the hood and take the bolts off and take off the headlamp too? Do I reach into another bolt tha the headlamp is convering? and he said take off at bumper and then take off the fender? Sounds like a lot but is it doable? Which part of the bumper? the side splitters or the actually bumper?

I get a lot of crap about this handle, I thikn I'll go bother Imprezer who is quite a busy guy to change it.

I think you got most of it. No need to remove doors, just open them. I think you need to remove headlights to get to a couple of bolts in the front. Everything else you can either see or feel when you remove plastic covers from around the wheels. I dont remember about a bumper, it might not need to be removed if you could remove evething that holds it to a fender. I did it a couple of years ago when my fender got smashed - took me maybe two hours without rushing anything. Tip - use some towels or something to avoid scratching paint...
If I were you I'd leave your car with whos painting the fender so they can match it perfectly. I'm sure you don't want it to look off when look at in the sun. If the body shop uses actual subaru paint then who knows. Most places have super fancy computer mixing technology on site.
yeah you pretty much got it... theres 1 bolt under the sideskirt, 2 in the door well, 4 up top and 1 behind the headlight. sideskirts and bumper gotta come off if you dont want to wrestle the fenders out

Thanks a lot. My plan is to buy the fender thats unpainted and put it on myself and have them painted. I hope removing the bumper and headlight and sideskirt isn't too hard, good practice anyways I'm thinking about getting some nice JDM fog lights.
