just finished a break for 45 mins and he's back at it....still doing shading.

thus far he is 3hrs in on this piece and easily has 2 more hrs to go. This piece is a A LOT of detail work.

(for perspective the SUBARU and LIC Motorsports pieces took 3.5 hrs a each)

I like "Aged Grayscale" which for some reason came out with more of a sepia tone than the actual sepia setting

right side block done, working on left side....then all the background goodies for color and effect

for a guy who has never drawed a motor or even knows anything about motor parts....its looking darn good if you ask me.

Hmm. That is a big lens, but I came across one like that one, only it was twice as long and it was free but someone put a nail through the glass lens in the wide part away from the camera. Soo, no free lens... Fubar!

Although, I did get some other Nikkor lens stuff... Free!! Haha

 

Incidentally, your painter should really wear his mask while painting.. Good for the lungs. Great work too..
