I seriously doubt everybody is down for a 4-5 hour drive that starts @ 2:30......let's just WING it....maybe we could cruise towards Berryesa....i know a couple scenic & twisty routes!!!

No my car isn't 100% done. It should be done tomorrow though so by tomorrow night you should have it back.

Hey slick, i'll finally get to see your car, sweet!

rich what happened to your car, i never heard...

 

Here's the route if you feel like doing it. Some of the North Bay guys did this with me along time ago and it's able to be done in 1- 2 hours.

1) After leaving the shop follow grant Ave (west) until reaching 8th St. turn (left)

2) At light turn (right) onto Novato Blvd.

3) Follow Novato Blvd. out of town (west) until it becomes Hicks Valley / novato Blvd. Drive past Stafford Lake

4) At the end of the road turn (right) onto Point Reyes / Petaluma Rd. but only for a second

5) Turn (left) onto Hicks Valley Rd.

6) At the end of the road turn (right) onto Marshall / Petaluma Rd.

7) turn (left) onto Chileno Valley Rd.

8) At the end of the road turn (left) onto tomales / Petaluma Rd.

9) Just up the hill turn (right) onto Alexander Rd.

10) At the end of the road turn (left) onto Fallon Two Rock Rd.

11) Fallon ends at a stop sign. Continue (straight) onto Whitaker Bluff Rd.

12) At the end of the road turn (right) onto Valley Ford / Franklin School Rd.

13) just before the bridge turn (right) onto Marsh Rd.

14) Then at the fork make a sharp (right) right onto Middle Rd. which will bring yuo back to Whitaker area.

15) Follow Middle to Dillon Beach rd. turn (left) onto Dillon Beach Rd. which takes you into the town of Tomales. There we can stop and talk about how the drive is going so far.

16) This is the slow mellow part. Driving hwy 1 (south) with whatever traffic there may be. It's a nice stretch so it won't be too bad. We stay on Hwy 1 (south) until we come to the small town of Marshall.

17) In the town of Marshall we turn (left) onto the Marshall / Petaluma Rd and make our way back.

18) turn (right) onto Hicks Valley rd

19) turn (right) onto Point Reyes / Petaluma Rd and drive over to the Cheese factory.

20) there we say our goodbyes etc and then go our own ways.

Thankfully i'll have her back tomorrow though. I also heard you had a little crash on your way home that day. Sorry that it happened to you. Are you coming on the 14th? All us guys would love to see a few ladies there.
My excuse for the crash was that it was friday the 13th. I knew i shouldn't have gone. But i'm hoping to do that route again this spring / summer.

So who is down with the route?

well i don't know how much of this thread you have read, but we are all meeting at the new car shop and then having a BBQ. and afterwards around 2:30 ish we will be going for a 1-2 hour drive. Route listed above. That's all.
