LIC is freakin awesome

Today I was driving down on HWY 5 and had an open straight line so I pushed the car just a bit in 5th great.... well the car had a hickup and the check engine light came on with of course the cruise control thing blinking.

I called Noah at LIC in a panic and asked him what I need to do. He told me to get out my AccessPort and plug it in and read them the error code. I stopped at a gas station and did that. The code was P0244 which I read back to Noah. Him and his awesome brother Adam helped out and told me it was just an over boost on my Intake... Adam helped me clear the code and get back on the road.

I tell you guys, there is no support like this anywhere in the world. Not even Dell or Microsoft. I hope that Noah does not decide one day to route the technical support department to India like other companies did.

Noah and Adam, I love you guys. You are just the best quality people out there.

LIC rules, Noah and Adam take the phrase "Customer Service" to a new level.

I was once at LIC and from 40 feet away Adam diagnosed, correctly, a leaking uppipe without me even noticing a problem. He was in the middle of an engine build and shouted across the shop "Sounds like you've got an up-pipe leak" and he was right. They changed that sucker in less than 45 minutes working as a team. I was losing boost and power and didn't even realize, but Adam's spider senses tingles immediately.

I'm telling you, them Levy boys know subarus better than Subaru.

I happily drive 80 miles round trip for them to spanner my car.

Become a regular customer and they cut you breaks on general maintenance.

My car gets tracked and AutoX'd regularly and I feel safe knowing the LIC Levy boys have kept everything checked and tightened for me.

I'm a LIC fanboy for life because of the high levels of service they offer.

Thanks LIC.

Noah: Do you want a frame for the front too?
Me: It's a Subaru, who ever sees the front?
Noah: ...good point

Its well worth my drive. I had come to expect less when dealing with other bay area shops. When I took my car to them the 1st time I was shocked on how well things went.

Even before that when I ordered my FMIC over the phone it was on the way before we got off the phone. Really, He was tag teaming me and the ups guy.. haha... less then 10 min later I get a copy of the paid invoice in my email box.
Next day the APS FMIC showed up no problems.
10:15 am ups and fmic
10:20 am LIC calling to make sure everything was perfect.
Like clock work.

These guys did so well I took my car back a second time for the major upgrades that went perfect.
I had a update by phone or email everyday as to where my car/project was.

When my tune needed work. They sent me to a shop in so-cal that had no problems tuning my car. Crawford did more over the internet then the last two tuners did with the car in front of them. Then once it was good I took it down for the dyno tune.

For anywork on my car,
LIC Motorsports gets the wrench time
Crawford gets the tune time.

And I no longer have any worries about car fires, blown motors, busted a/c lines, stripped tmic's and poor tunes.

No one I have ever seen can do the amount of quality work and maintain such a high standard of work. These guy are the perfect team.
I highly recomend them And sometime you have to drive to get good service.

Someone should have their dna tested... lol

My vote for top subie shop of 2008 goes to them!
