I know some of you guys have crossed over to a nice daily driver at times and I'm looking to do the same. Right now I'm looking towards a 2nd gen Lexus GS300/400/430 and wondering if anyone has some good forums choc full of info. I've been to the following and they seem somewhat lacking: clublexus, lexusownersclub, lexusforum, and planetlexus. If anyone can point me towards a NABISCO-ish site without the douchebagery I'd greatly appreciate it.

My friend has a 97 SC300 in white. That thing is sooooo clean. And plus, over there in JDM land, you guys got the option for the stick.

True. Actually the Aristos here are about 2-3k cheaper as they're toyotas and don't have all that Lexus trim

Sure am and thankfully i'm only here for a short tour with 10mo to go. I'm at kadena actually and can't wait to pcs out of here! It has seriously gotten really gay here with curfews actually being enforced and many places shutting down at curfew. Not to mention not being able to go to clubs/bars for us AF guys.

 

Yeah I heard about that. That kind of **** happens in waves. It gets worse, then it gets better, etc. I was in the marine corps so we always got shafted on libo rules. I used to do a little translating for the base, so I got a few "special privileges". Also got away with sneaking tons of people in and out of gates in the trunk of my car (which is pretty stupid, but I'm proud of getting away with it).
