FWIW, the american red cross has deemed that mouth to mouth is not needed. CHEST compression is needed more. i.e. the circulation of blood is more important.

so, that training footage, while ok for the UK, isnt the right protocol these days...

well lemme relate a story when i took a college PE class on first aid and CPR and stuff.

we spent about 2 weeks (it was a 10 week class) just on chest compressions. i was partnered with... lets just say she was rather blessed in the chest area. and she wore tight clothing for the class.

our target area back then, as the video for the class explained was look for the imaginary nipple line... and that's where the heel of our hand would go.


as quagmire would have said back then... giggity... giggity, giggity...
