What's your TV budget? Many LCDs can be used with computers easily nowadays.

working in the TV/HiDef industry has taught me that Samsung/Sharp/Mitsubishi/Toshiba is going down hill in terms of LCD panel quality.

Sony is still knocking out nice panels. Vizio is roaring up in quality. Their (3) 1080p sets are crazy good, especially for the money.

The hannsg is pretty damn amazing. It comes with a 6500k color temp setting and using AVIA it testing to be damn close. Once calibrated it was pretty ****ing amazing with 971H dvd player I grabbed from work to test with.

COMPLETELY UNTRUE.

(not about the widescreen thing)

my buddy paid like 200 for his full FMIC setup by SSAUTOCHROME and he is getting the same numbers as people with APS FMIC's

and that statement of getting what you pay for.. only goes so far and cannot be generalized.. i bought a cheapo ram set for an office computer ($80 for 2gigs) and it runs photoshop perfectly and i have had it for about a year and a half now and have ZERO issues.
