The last of the stereo deletes

Well I just dropped my car off about an hour ago at Magnolia Hifi to get a system put in. For 3 years plus (original owner said it was one of the first STis off the boat), my car has been driving around without a stereo. LIC told me I was one of the last people they knew of still rocking the stereo delete. Is there anyone else around with an 04 that still has no stereo?

Finally I can stop singing to myself and/or scaring my passengers.

Cheers,
Matt

Man that must have sucked. I didn't even like my stock sys in MY05 so I got the Alpine 9857 an 400 watt Alpine amp and Boston Acoustic Speakers all around. Tomorrow I am finally putting in subs (2 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch's) and a sub amp.

Hold onto the radio-delete plate. If people ever want to restore an '04 STi twenty years down the road, you can eBay that piece for $$$.

I'm gonna hang it on my wall or something. My other thought was if I ever were to modify my car in a manner that would need a bunch of switches (front mounted rotary cannon, oil slick, smoke screen), the radio delete plate would be ideal to drill out and use for that.

Cheers to that. Though my christmas/birthday finally happened today on getting into my car and having a nice stereo to listen to, I admit I will miss just having a suby delete plate in the dash. Definately had a stripped down race feel to it.
