looks like an excuse to blow 4 millions dollars on an over priced whoop whoop lambo. Nice but not work the price tag IMO

Numbers don't lie.

You're paying for low production numbers... that's it. And like I said.. if you want to spend big money on rare cars you can do it with a lot more class than that ugly POS.... hell you could buy one of the other 2 and spend the rest on a crazy rare classic and be even more stoked.

There is always something else one could do with their money. Saying that sort of thing is always meaningless, but even more so when you are talking about something like this, which will be purchased by someone who does not think in terms of value or potentially have any idea how much it cost (or care).

So what exactly is your point (both posts) then?

You do realize that the internet and magazine racks are FULL of these types of discussion? The ones where guys that like cars talk about stuff they will never be able to afford let alone likely lay eyes on. It's all about opinions. It's what ifs. If I had $5 million to spend what would I spend it on.... tell you the truth... I wouldn't. But that's the point. I'd invest it and set my family up something to build off of. But then again, I'm not a billionaire. The guys that buys hit like that don't have $5 million in the bank they have $5 billion.

So what exactly is the point of those posts?

I read the articles and looked at the photos. I felt like the car was overdone and no better than many many other supercars that you can get for less that are nicer looking. My opinion is that it's ugly and people are paying for that big number... 3. If it was 300 would people still pay $4 million for one or would they be priced closer to the comp.. $700k to 1.5 million?

That's the whole point of this **** man. Why are you busting on me? Without discussions like this there is literally no point to be on this website or any other auto forum on the internet. If all you want to do is read tech and how to there are tons of other sites to read. The baic is for bull****... period.

Seriously... what do you talk about when you sit down and have a beer with your friends?

Do you wake up. Go to work. Go home and talk to your wife about your day. Read a book written before 1940 and then go to bed?

Or is it more likely that you talk about what some dumb *** politician did today and what they should of done. What your boss did that you would have done differently. What some moron on the highway did that you would have done differently. What you would do to fix the budget crisis. What you would do if you won that fat lotto prize.

Etc.

Seriously... wtf.

Have to agree with that. Someone who buys a $4million dollar car is going to buy it just to have it and say they have it. And it won't be the most expensive car they own.

That's pretty ****ing obvious don't you think?

We're talking about 3 people in the world that have the money and connections to get the car. It's pretty obvious that anyone with that kind of money isn't going to process spending money like someone that has to worry about spending $5 on a cup of coffee or $50 on a tank of gas.

Yes, it is a given that the people buying this are not "mortal" LOL. My issue is, unless it is someone like Leno, what is the point then? If I am going to buy it, I want to go out and drive the sh*t out of it, not just tool around in it because I can afford it just because of what it is.

Not sure what to say here. I am not picking on you or starting a fight, I disagreed on an internet forum. It shouldn't bother you so much if I do not agree, and I am sorry if I offended you.

No worries.

That was the point of that post man. I'm not offended. I know you.

I don't mind a good disagreement. Doesn't mean I like you any less. I either like you or I don't. You... I do. LOL! Good people are good people.
