I've been using Mobil1 High Mileage 10w40 for about a year now with my vf34... still not burning any oil between changes. Probably gonna try out the Rotella T on my next change though just for something different.

I used only partial synthetic in my WRX when I had it and my legacy at the time as well, but I am not sure if that was the correct thing. In any of my other vehicles I always just used whatever dino oil was cheapest because I was changing it at 3k anyhow.

I use Mobile 1 10-30 full synthetic for the last 10k miles, 4 trackdays+daily driving. havent burnt any oil or needed to add any. works just fine for me. to each his own.
