Question Is KOYO a good radiator to go with?

My radiator is going out - there is dried coolant on the exterior of the radiator from a leak and this weekend my temperature gauge went over the halfway point. I was coming back from camping in Coloma (past Placerville) and was driving uphill for several miles with the AC blasting in 105 degree heat. Luckily I saw the temp rise and was able to get it back down to normal quickly by turning off the AC.

I've been searching and have found two radiators, a KOYO (~$400) and a Mishimoto (~$250). Is KOYO worth the extra cost? I don't mind paying more for a quality product.

Any other options/advice?

koyo is great. EQ tuning recommended Koyo to me when mine went out. I needed something more cost effective so i went with a megan racing dual row radiator which i ordered online for around 200 bucks.

Who/where did you call Matt? Are you looking at the Koyo all aluminum racing radiator or OEM replacement?

I ask because I used to work for a national rad company and it sounds like a all aluminum to me kinda. OEM replacement doesn't run that kinda $. Maybe check with Noah @ LIC. I know he usually stocks a few and can get some pretty easily/quickly since one of his distributors was my old employer.

btw - Koyo is one of the best quality oem replacement radiators available in service, reliability and closest to factory fitment as far as ac mount/fan mount/ etc, goes.

koyo>mishimoto
but its just too bad that alot of koyos arent direct stock replacements, require to bend/trim etc.
