Must not click link... can't afford any more toys...

Looks nice though. I've always been a fan of Gerber Knives. Better than average knives at decent prices.

I have a couple of these. Love the action on it.

I can look into getting Benchmade for you at a little over cost. I'll see if my guy carries it.

Mmmmm Benchmade knives. Can't get enough of them. The AXIS is a good locking system.

I own 2 Spyderco's and 7 Benchmades (Emerson tanto, Griptillian, 630 Skirmish, 635 Skirmish, Model 2550 Auto, x2 BM 710Hs's) dating back to their first popular Emerson designed Tanto. Been using that tanto hard since 1997 and it's even withstood 4yrs or grueling service. Even helped me untangle my parachute during a jump. Plus their Lifesharp guarantee is awesome as I have never had a hassle with it yet. Comes back razor sharp and oiled for $5. Spyderco offers a sharpening service but I have never tried it.

The Osbourne is a great knife but a tad overprices for what you can get. You can get a similar BM710HS which just so happens to be Benchmades number one seller for a long time. It's been one of their top sellers since the birth of the company for a reason and I own two of them.

Blade Material: M2 steel
Blade Hardness: 60-62 (M2)
Handle Material: G10

= Goodness.

CRKT has a model that I love to death and I will never part with it. One hand operation and opens faster than any knife I own using the index finger and not the usual thumb action, no l;ocks to fiddle just simple flick move and like I said fastest openning I have seen so far without any effort. Here is one that has the carson flipper (I have the same type with another style blade) openner that should be illegal coz it is faster than an automatic blade when openned. http://www.thebladeshop.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=211

I collect knives and automatic watches. But knives always facinate me PERIOD !

Let me know if you need the model number and I can post it.

I also have a Swiss army knife that is made for the German military (has a thumb hole on the main blade) that you cannot get anywhere but in Switzerland thru a friend of mine that supplies them to the German military, has a German eagle logo on a Swiss army made military type. I could part ways with it coz I have 2.

Musashi,

I got one of those. Awesome knife...especially the Axis lock mechanism. That knife and my R.E.K.A.T. Sifu is my usual overseas (Japan) knife combo. As well as an ASP 21" baton.

You can get them at:

www.1sks.com
www.cutleryshoppe.com

Hope this helps.

Here is another one I just bought, carries really light and indestructable. It has the same Carson flipper openner that is faster than a blink of an eye when deployed. http://www.thebladeshop.com/index.as...ROD&ProdID=223

I got my Girlfriend a Ka-Bar D2 Eagle for her bday last year. She loved it. It's called a "Fighting knife" and is standard issue on some spec ops teams.

Here is the pic:

The blade is about 8" long, so its not a small knife in any sense. Its also made from D2 Tool steel... which is the shiznit.

Her knife (I have a mini version of it) is a replica design of what our marines used in WWII. (I love WWII stuff, so naturally I got the knife)

Oh and as far as pricing goes... Retail is like $180 but you can find them online for about $110. If you get one without D2 Tool steel they are about $60.

Cold Steel Recon Tanto is a pretty decent fixed blade knife.

Mmmm, benchmade.

I've got Mel Pardue 722SBT, A MiniGriptilian 556 in yellow, a Limited Edition Mel Pardue 553 SBT and a Heckler & Koch AXIS Tactical Folder 3.4 (which is made by Benchmade).

All amazing knives. Never had a problem with any Benchmade knife.

Any one have recommendations for shops to sharpen them?
