I mean seriously... it's not like he went up their to defend the honor and integrity of music. Hell he was up for several video awards himself.
Oh.. and how is a music video detrimental to listening to music? That's like saying that snowboard videos are pointless because snowboarding is mean to be done rather than watched. I mean why not cancel the speed channel because we should all be out driving not watching.

Kanye does it to get attention. He knows people will be talking about everything dumb thing that he does (just look at this forum). I disagree with a lot of the things that he does. But, I choose not to get all pumped when he acts like his typical foolish self. I like the beats that he makes and that sums it up. And for the comment about him selling less records, this will not harm his music sales in anyway. As a matter of fact, I'm sure more people will buy his music. Not because they actually like his music, but they like controversial people.
