Did you fiddle with the radiator support adjusters? There are 2 black rubber stoppers, which allow the hood to go up and down, according to how they are set. Did you adjust them?

 

Damn, that sux. My hood (not kaminari) fits awesome. It's like the stock hood, but CF. Anyways, hope everything works out.

 

Kaminari offers lifetime warranty for mfg defects. You should try to get a proper replacement. I'm looking at getting this hood a FMIC and the Kaminari body kit.

I was thinking about getting this hood also till I found your post... Did you get a new hood from kaminari or did you just leave it as is? I'm gonna be getting a front mount and would like to get this hood or something similar. let me know

I know this thread is pretty old guys, but I just wanted to clear a few things up about the Kaminari hood. Since earlier this year, there has been a revised version of the CF reverse cowl hood and it fits like a g-l-o-v-e. Both sides of the hood share an even space between the fenders and it flushes perfectly with your headlights and grill.
