i went to K1 Speed up in Santa Clara or wherever and it was a blast, anyone want to go kinda have a meet and then race a bit. its 20 bucks for a 14 lap race and its great.
the karts will hit 45mph and on that tight track its perfect.

 

I havent gone to the K1 up here but I went a bunch when I live in the OC. I'm always down to go through.

I kinda prefer San Francisco. But Santa Clara is cool I guess.

 

In down, I live 2-3 miles away from the Santa clara location. I've been there a few times, never been disappointed.

 

i go to the santa clara one every once in a while, i'm down to join.

 

some of us are coming from monterey lol.

i want to try and go not this weekend but the next, cause after that ill be in georgia

 

Yeah it's on a side-street that you probably have never heard of before.

That place is pretty cool. I went inside but have not driven the karts yet.

 

I'll hold my comments about K1. But I like the SF one over the Santa Clara one.

 

bad experience? the only thing i had that i didnt like was the other drivers that may or may not have been women that may or may not have been panicking a bit and wouldnt move over lol

 

i've had my problems with the SF one though, I like the irvine one

 

Same here, but I prefer GoKart Racer in Burlingame.

 

Actually I've had nothing but positive experience with the people that works at both K1 in the Bay Area. I like their electric karts. Their layout in the SF location is nice as well. And I still have like 10 sessions left on my account with them. Just wondering when I'll ever use it up.

 

the only complaint i have with k1 and electric karts are the fact that they are able to turn down the power whenever they want

 

Do they still make you wear kart/jumper suit? I almost last time I went there cause of the sweat smell from previous driver.

 

They do, but I've never had a smelly suit. More than likely a previous person put their suit back on the rack instead of putting it in the bins. You just got unlucky
