Just thought I'd share...

Just got my 16g WRX tuned at GST today! very happy with the results! Thanks Mike and Greg.

Just thought I'd like to share it with everyone. especially since theres not too much on standard 16g turbos. The tune is super smooth and runs great! Nothing jaw-dropping, just a dailydriver/autoX car.

here's the engine mods:
Cobb AP V.2
FP16g turbo
DeatschWerks 650cc Injectors
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
Helix TMIC
Cobb SF Intake
GodSpeed Turbo Inlet
Helix Catless DP
Helix Catless Up
SubieSport Lightweight Pulleys
Gruppe-S BCS
HKS SSQV BOV

Dyno Sheet

AFR Sheet

Nice numbers was this a conservative tune? Any plans on changing the setup? Running external wastegate...etc.

akdmx-Boost Control Solinoid (http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subeng/grp_sol.htm)

strider327- 19psi tapered to 17psi.. believe its pretty conservative. I plan on FMIC, 18g or 20g, and possible meth? possibly by around summer 09. I've got alot of ideas brewing.

Bout how much did you get the 16g for? Was it brand new?

Probably don't have any idea about your gas mileage yet? Since this was just yesterday..

yeah its got good power. but honestly, you might want to consider at least the EvoIII 16g.. only reason i went standard was because if the deal i got on the turbo. i have plans to go bigger(18g or 20g) in the future, hence the 650cc injectors instead of 565cc Sti Pinks..

you should atleast get 18g or 20g.

with the 2.5L engine works great with 18g.

and all you need a bigger intercooler, and fuel pump. don't even need injectors.

16g is too small for a 07.

wimprezax06, the OP says it's an 02 WRX, so 16g not so bad for quick response on the 2.0L.

I'm really impressed with how the torque stays relatively flat...but then again i've got the 2.5L and VF39...it looks more like a mountain range LOL. you even have more HP than me! and that's after the damn tune! (but props to GST!!!)
