Is it just me, or is it hot to watch your better half drive your car

for the past 2 days Iv needed to use my wifes wagon (toyota matrix) to hawl dirt for landscaping. yesterday we where both going home from her work place and i just couldnt take my eyes off of my car [damn my car looks and sounds bad as* and it just looks that much hotter seeing her driving it] I would even role down the windows of the matrix so i could hear the rumble as she excelerated from the stop light. while I was on the freeway she passes me in traffic and blows me a kiss. (ahhh... yes, im in love)
Am I the only one that feels this way?

No, I am sappy too. My girl learned to drive in Sweden and can handily out-drive most of my friends. She has spent lots of time on T-Hill, Sears and a teeny bit at Laguna with me, but she doesn't feel she is ready to actually drive yet. I have a vid of her driving up 9 in my old '01 RS coupe. It's pretty cool - looking forward, watching the trees go by, hearing the exhaust and actually very competent downshifts w/ rev matching, pan over - and see her driving..

I guess this probably makes me even less cool, but I am fine with that.

my wifes first car was a manual ford f-350 (I guess back in the day you needed to double clutch these things because her grandfather tought her from the beginning how to double clutch.) now thats the only way she drives. her clutch timing and rpm timing is perfact and excelerats with no hesitation between gears. iv tried so many times and i still cant get it down that smooth

My wife shifts sooo much better than me. I learned manual when I was 26 while she learned on a bug, so that's my excuse. She doesn't know how to heel-toe (yet)

I don't let my wife drive my car very often. She complains that the clutch is too stiff. She revs quite a bit from a dead stop. I'm sure if she drives it more she'd get better at it She is pretty good at driving stick. She's always had a stick before the Bimmer. A couple of times she asked if she could drive, it's kind of funny, she has no experience driving a car with the kind of power the wagon has. So she'll get it rolling and do a couple 2,3,4 pulls and this big grin goes across her face. Then she looks over let out wooo and a head knod. It's funny. She's a godd passenger. She enjoys sprinted twisties, scares the death out of her, but after a good set she laughs and giggles. Her normal response is "Jeff, jeff, JEFF, Slo, Ahhhhh, WOOOOOOO, laugh. Kind of like a roller coaster.

I usually cringe... she drives an auto tsx with little experience on a manual.
