Just installed SS brakelines!!
Man that was easy...I love working on this car! (esp. when I leave work at 2:30p to do so!)
First time out, working alone with hand tools and only two jackstands, 1.5 hours. Installed Speedbleeders, Goodridge SS brakelines, flushed and filled with Motul RBF600. Just deciding on pads while my stockers wear out.
Install notes:
*Speedbleeders are the awesomest thing since poontang. After the Cobb reflashes, this was the best $20-ish dollars I've spent on the car.
*A vacuum bleeder combined with the speedbleeders makes for no-mess, one person, 30-second bleed per corner.
Impressions:
Better braking feel and pedal response. Just what the pizza ordered.
Why don't we have installfests around here?

Good stuff Eric. I installed my Stoptech Stage 1 kit (Axxis Ultimate pads, SS lines and Motul 600 fluid) before the new year. I couldn't believe how easy is was to do. I have never attempted to change disc brakes, EVER. It was cake.
I didn't buy a set of speedbleeders. I had to bribe my brother with lunch for him to help me pump the brakes.
We did. And then they turned into I-Speed.

How do you like the Axxis Ultimates? Now that I know it's so easy I think that will be another part of the car that I regularly mod!

I'm basically looking for something that outbrakes the stock pads, doesn't make noise, lasts a while, and doesn't dust much.
Hahahaha and I'd like beer to shoot out of my turbo too...I never get what I want!

HPS for low dust.
BTW, be careful with the speedbleeders. Quite a few of them don't work (i.e. allow fluid and air to flow BOTH ways when open) right out of the box! It'd pay to have someone else pump the brakes while you watch the clear fluid line (on the bleeder) to be sure the "one way check valve" in the speedbleeder actually IS a one way check valve

Ed-
I'd heard that and checked them all with the high pressure vacuum of my mouth...then paid special attention to the air movement (or lack of) when I installed it.
I got mine from another member with the SS lines.
