Just got a 2.5RS & New MemberID

Just got a '99 2.5RS Coupe- White with black wheels, and its pretty awesome.

I was previously known as Kyle323GTX here with few posts now and then, so since im still a n00b-->

Im in the Santa Cruz Mountains if you see me or want to drive. Ive been going to the Marina AutoX's with my '88 323 GTX and my '95 Miata (65K-mile-tire drifter) and was at the Oct 1 with my RS my top time was 71.8XX so im pretty happy with it.

Ive done the Altamont RallyX a year ago 16th out of 83-in my moms 2.2L Outback and recently did the Antioch RallyX and got 12th out of 69-again, in the 2.2L OB
Now i have my RS. its set up for the street but ive been offroad and its not so bad, so i might have to drive up to Thunderhill for the next RallyX (not too bumpy?) my Subaru driving is as deep...shallow as my 4 years behind the wheel, and GranTurismo since '98

Hope to meet lots of cool people, especially ones with dirt on the dash and a few guardrail scratches on the side (not really but you know what i mean)

-Kyle

Welcome back, Kyle.

I've modified your screenname with an actual letter 'M' since we don't like to see 'leet'-type names on i-Club.

haha well i dont want to get to 6000 posts under an ID of a car that i plan on selling in a few months. Plus i think of an admin to edit my old ID so oh well.

Yeah the GTX was cool, But my RS is better now, and when/if it breaks i can find parts for it and find someone that knows how to work on one. Plus theres thousands of subaru compatible parts with my RS and with the GTX there are only a few hundred of those left.

Ill check out rs25.com right now thanks

haha! it was a high 71.8XX!

yeah i was there Monday, everyone assumed you fell asleep haha, we went driving for an hour (or i did) i left to go to sleep.

speaking of HUGE BMW's drifting at the autoX we followed one for like 5 minutes to the coast. HAHA! it was funny, he was taking all the racing lines and everything. He shouldve pulled over, but i stayed back and let him clear the deer for us. But yeah maybe ill see you some monday, i dont think i'll do it every monday since my commute rips up my tires enough.

Yeah, that was sorta fun. He was at least giving it some effort, I kept trying to see if he was getting on 3 wheels haha. I wonder what he was thinking? Maybe he's telling his friends how bad he beat us down the hill?

some kind of potenzas with 140 TW rating. they dont feel like 140's my Hankook RS2s on my miata were TW 200 and felt way stickier 195 60 14 compared to my RS's 225 50 16 weird huh?

maybe its cuz i didnt mess with my suspension at all, or maybe it cuz miatas are just hardcore like that.
