Ok, so school starts monday for me at Wyotech (Sequioa Institute) and I need a job! I am just going to go out there with some resumes and ask everywhere. I'd like to do something auto related in the Fremont/Milpitas area, since that's where school is. Anyone have any ideas of what will pay well and be fun? Anything really will do, a tire place, parts place....etc... I have 3 years of expierience at a machine shop up in WA, so hpoefully that will help! If you have any ideas please let me know. I was a grocery store bagger and made like $7 an hour (in 92-94), and decent extra cash from tips. It's amazing what being nice to old ladies will get you. When I left for college they offered me a $20/hour cashiers job which I had to turn down, but if I'd stayed I probably would've been CEO of Ralphs by now. lol That was a great job since it was union.

 

I fix computers, pays great, minimal work, fun job. You just have to have a goo idea of what you are doing OR BE REALLY REALLY REALLY good at bull****ting.

Go talk to the carrer service's people. They rock. IF you have a clean criminal record thay have ton's of jobs. They set up interviews for you, all you have to do is show up and impress. If you're there in the afternoon's, I'll be there as well. 106 in the afternoon, and 108 in the evening. Sucks taht you pulled 105 for your first class. If you got 101, you could learn some good stuff to really get you a job. In 101 you learn alingments and tire changing.

 

Thanks for the info estrada, is it tough to double phase? Why did I get 105 before 101? Have you taken 105? Hard? Fun? I'll talk to those career type people on Monday!
