JL Audio Clean Sweep?

Does anyone that has this in their car care to share their experience with it? I've been thinking about getting one, but I want to keep the stock headunit.

Did you look into the JBL MS8? I heard good things about that one too.

Anyhoo, diymobileaudio.com has some good info on OEM integration setups like that from various cars. Could shed some light in the meantime.

Thanks! I have not looked into JBL MS8, I just assumed the JL Audio Clean Sweep is the only thing of its kind out there because it isn't like your typical sound processor/equalizer? I've been wanting to upgrade my factory system, but I really dont like how any of the headunits out there look right now. They don't match the interior of the car imo..and I also like how the factory headunit is nice, clean, and simple.

Basically what I want is a sound system where every time I listen to it I actually want to turn it up because it sounds good(unlike the stock setup, sometime I prefer to listen to the Cobb exhaust instead lol). I listen to anything really, but lately it's just been all the trendy stuff(the stuff on 94.9/99.7). If anybody can recommend anything, that'd be great. But I'll check out diymobileaudio.com for now

The clean sweep is actually a pretty good product. I've seen plenty installed and heard the difference. If you wanna talk stereo stuff just ask me and I'll point you in the right direction. See you at the meet tonight.

Also look into the Audison Bit One. Does everything the Clean Sweep does and so much more, costs more though.

I work at car audio depot in modesto, we sell the jl audio clean sweep, this is an amazing unit but it is pricey... If i were you i would look into either that or the audiocontrol lc6 or lc8 depending on how crazy you want to go with your system... If you have any questions let me know my name is jordan and the store's number is (209)523-7042 we would be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

Unless you really want to keep the factory HU, I would just get an aftermarket deck and EQ. I've heard the Clean Sweep after it was installed in a Lexus before and although the difference it made was noticeable, I'm not sure it's worth the price.

My cousin has one in his Mustang (but with an aftermarket radio) so if you happen to want more info on it or want to check it out in person, Im sure he has no problem helping out.
