Anyone going to spectate or watch? It's in Santa Cruz at Claudio Franca BJJ. Participants is $50 fee, Spectators are $5. I'm competing in Ultra Heavy weight class ( over 221lbs ) because I'm 258lbs.

That sounds pretty cool. Looks to be on a Saturday. Depending on what's going on that day maybe I can come down and watch ya kick some Ultra Heavy Weight Butt.

Probably bad. He only been doing it for a few years but he's pretty good. He's built really similar to me but much stronger than I am.

I believe that the correct term is "European-American" belt.

Don't know for sure. I'll have to check. He's been trying to get me to go down and roll with him for a couple years now. I just can't afford it. I'd love to do it.

Dude, if you wanna roll, most places let you check it out for a while before you start paying. I went to B Street Boxing for almost a whole month for free....

Im really jealous... Ever since I broke my arm this last time I can't do anything that even resembles martial arts, especially grappling which sucks because I started my ground skills about a year ago, now I can't finish because my arm needs to heal for another f'ing year. Best of luck to you though!
