Question Jiminy Cricket lives in my car i think...

So for the las couple of days ive been hearing this sound, that i think is comeing from the under the car. It sounds like a cricket, but when i put a little presure on my clutch pedal it goes away. I havnt noticed any performance drops or anything, its really just anoying the crap out of me. While im driving on the freeway its loud enough to be heard in the car.

Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be?

Im going to goto capitol subaru on monday to see Justin and see if he has any insite.

Please keep us posted on what that is. I've had that happen to me too, but it just mysteriously went away after a while.

i know its the throw out bearing. not too important to fix i dont think, but in your case being that loud i dont know.

My moms OBS only does it at idle and you make it go away by taking the clutch slack out an inch or two.

But youre looking at a $1000 basically a clutch price

maybe get your clutch adjusted?

hmm I only have 2500 miles on my car, unless this is going to make my clutch go out faster, I think ill try to figure out something instead of waiting for my clutch to go out. My car is still under warranty so Im coverd there.

i bet the stealership took your car out for a little joy ride and messed something up. If it is that new, take it back and have them fix it.
