haha its like ppl buying broadway mirrors in replace of their oem rear mirror. same kind of fad. However, I would imagine those "Wink Mirrors" to be actually more useful in seeing your blind spots. Hell, i don't think you'd even have to turn your head when changing lanes anymore hah..

I was fortunate enough to move up to a subie but it was easier to continue using the same name

Sure, but I'm wondering when and how "JDM" became the catchphrase du jour. Maybe mid-2000s or so? When drifting started getting big in North America?

I've mainly seen these in Jeep Wranglers for many years now, thought they were genius for that application. These on cars...dumb.

My godfather uses one of those in his civic because he wis a dwarf and he cant turn his head very much. It helps him out a lot. If you have neck problems or back problems its great! It definitely helps with your field of view, you almost dont need to look at the side mirrors.
