jdm fogs?
Hey guys,
So I drive my car pretty much only when its dark outside. I leave for work around 3-5am and usually dont drive back home until its dark I wanted to get a little more light on the road so i figured i could pick up some 04-05 JDM fogs for my WRX well im having a hard time finding a set and i would love to find some in crystal gray metallic if possible if not no biggie. do any of yall know a site that may carry them? also id like to throw some HID's on my headlights do any of you have experience with this? my headlights do not have projectors on them so i dont know how it would turn out. well thanks guys

Fog lights will not help create "driving light" they are pretty much only good for fog or snow when you are driving slow. They cast light in a wide path so you can tell where you are going from seeing beside you.
Sounds like you need some auxiliary lighting. I have seen people put driving lights in place of the fog lights. I think someone makes a bracket for it and you cut your housing to fit.

there is nothing you can't do. there are aftermarket HID systems, but you'll be blinding everyone. you can drive around with your high beams if it's safe to do so.

Ask Wongr to pick up a set of JDM fogs for you while he's in japan. I'll help you install them if you want. I've got them in my wagon. The fogs make a HUGE difference over the stock one.
Headlights you can retrofit. I'd actually like to do it... or pick up some STI HID's.
But more than likely I'm going to do something along the lines of tucking some driving lights behind the grill or in the lower opening of the bumper.
JDM fogs are dope.

haha sick, ill check to see how my funds are looking within the next week. i want all this stuff but at the same time im saving for 2 weddings one in maui the other here, hot rod, house and the subaru haha oh yeah im getting married yall got engaged about a month ago haha
I'm finally making progress on the caddy. It's running again. I've got one oil line to fix and I need to hook up the brake switch. After that I can drive it safely to get the alignment done.
I'm getting ready to dig in to finishing the body work right now. Hopefully I'll have it painted by mid summer. Goal is to have it running good, safeish and painted this summer. Interior can come after that.

the rod looks almost the same as it did before, its pretty much almost ready to do a burnout. we are gonna pull the body off again and paint the frame then put it all back together. just small things here and there. good stuff about the caddy! sounds like you are much closer than i am
