Jay Leno finally gets the boot

I was wondering how long his show would be aired on primetime, I'm surprised he made it this long. Some love him, some hate him, but you can't deny that he's a TV icon and has been a part of late night for ages.

I'm sure he doesn't mind, if I was him I wouldn't... Give me more time to play with all of my cars! Man, his collection is epic and I don't think I'd have any spare time if I had the toys he does.

I'm glad Conan took over the late show, he's def funnier then Leno and Letterman combined.

Am I the only person who finds "Late Night" unwatchable??

Jeno and Letterman both bore the hell out of me

I think you're right. I wouldn't be surprised to see Conan on Fox.

Whoa, what? I haven't heard anything of this sort and it wasn't reported when I saw it on the news so I assume you're kidding... Right?

The Jay Leno Show," which airs at 10 p.m. EST, will end with the Feb. 12 beginning of the Winter Olympics, said NBC Universal Television Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gaspin. Leno would return to his former 11:35 p.m. slot after the Olympics ended under the network's new plan, which also calls for O'Brien to retain his job with "Tonight" but at the later hour of 12:05 a.m. EST.

Whoa, what the hell? I can't believe that they are making Conan air an hour later? He's far more popular then Leno (though not as many viewers due to his time slot) and he totally deserves to have an earlier time slot.

I thought Leno wanted to retire? What happened to that?

A lot of the networks were complaining how popular Jay's show was.

Hmmm... no I'm pretty sure NBC forced him out of his original timeslot to give Conan a chance.

jay leno.. a squeaking old hack.. I can't see how giving him any air time is a good idea. The talks of getting him back on his old time slot seems futile. Material thief....

well yeah.. At least leno had a career at one point. Conan just sucks. And fallon has funny moments but overall he is a niche guy. Screw the entire line-up.

Letterman ftw

Leno is pretty funny...at times. I usually only watch Leno for certain segments such as "Headlines" or those Ross the Intern bits.

Conan has always been funny but it seems like since he moved to the 11:30 slot, he's had to cut down on a few of his jokes due to not being "late night" anymore.

Fallon is ok I guess. It's sometimes painful to watch him because he's a bit awkward at times. He does the same exact thing when he was on SNL which was laugh during skits.
