I looked in to it as well a bit. The on hand liquid capital you had to have was RIDICULOUS. But some SERIOUS money to be had having a Sonic in Gilroy or San Jose or in the new build area of Fremont.

well crap, this thread went over well, didn't it?

I've never been to a sonic. To a kid who grew up in the midwest sonic is about as mystical as in & out was to me (and as Hardees is to you )

I do hear they have excellent beverages, and I enjoy their commercials on occasion...

I loved the $3 for $3 deal. Chili cheese:fries/burger/dog Maybe i put them out of business by ordering that so much!

Now i have to go to the Boardwalk for a good corndog! But those always ruled over weinerschnitzel. Or San Jose, they still have Weinerschnitzels.
I live within a 10 minute drive to three of them. I go once in a while for chili cheese fries.

Pretty much. After eating it takes about 10 minutes, then you gotta pee out of your butt.
