Talking It's possible to fit 8 adult men in a WRX sedan

I did 2 weeks ago when 7 of my buddies and I went hiking down in Big Basin park in Boulder Creek, CA.

We parked 2 cars @ park headquarters, then hiked 13 mi. one way (1500+ ft elevation) from the mountains to the beach.

There was no way we were going to hike back so I hitched a ride w/ a park ranger to drive back 50 mi (1hr) to get my car.

I was gonna pick up one guy to go get the 2nd car, then have him swing back and pick up the rest of the guys...

Everyone decided they didn't want to wait another 2+ hrs for the 2nd car so everyone squeezed into my car... me, driver seat, friend, passenger seat pushed all the way up.

3 guys in the backseat. 1 sitting on another guys lap (on a backpack) and 1 guy behind the passenger seat on the floor.

Lucky friend #7 layed down in the TRUNK. We left the center flipdown armrest open about 2-3" for "fresh air".

The 1 hr drive back to park HQ was amusing to say the least....

Had the backpack not been mentioned this post would've been so wrong.

You guys should try and join a circus.

And your car didn't bottom out with that much weight in it?

That center arm rest hole is great for back seat fart insertion.

13 miles was the hike from park HQ to the beach.... it was a 50 mi drive down highway 1, then back onto 17, then back to park HQ.

here's a map
