An Introduction
I finally picked up my WRX this weekend, so now that I'm officially a Subaru owner it seemed like a good idea to say hello to the rest of the board.
the car:

2003 WRX wagon, 12,000 miles, stock except for dealer-installed accesories: boost gauge, sti short shifter and shift ****, alarm, rear diff protector, etc.
I had to drive the car 1,300 miles from New Mexico (where I found it) back to the Bay Area, and I'm loving it so far...even though the dealer-installed tires are awful. A set of new rubber will be the first mod.
Anyway, I'm glad to be on the board, and hopefully I will run into a few of you in the coming months. I've been lurking for a few weeks and have already learned a lot of helpful information. Good stuff.

The tires are awful...Cooper all-seasons, the kind of tires that cheap people put on their Kias. Considering I'm used to driving a car with performance tires and suspension mods, it's a big change. They will be replaced by next week.
