Good point.

Almost kinda hit or miss though. Justin H. isn't very common. But one of the small companies I used to work for had two. Also, my boss at that job was Eric A. with is email being erica. Everyone thought he was a chick.

Also the company email format can usually be applied to all emails in you have only one. Example, I have jourdanr@njenius. Yours would be raymondt@njenius. Yuri would be yurik@njenius. etc. If it goes through, cool. If it bounces, you back where you started. No loss.
I don't like that tactic simply because it seems a bit too over eager and a little bit stalker. Don't hunt for people's info if you didn't have it. Stick with the contacts you got at the interview.

The first part of the interview was a panel interview. Then I interviewed with 2 art directors and a creative director.

I'm reaching out to the contact I have. Hopefully it works out.

Do follow up calls ever help? When I was fresh of out college I use to call but get sent to voice mails, or they'll say they're still interviewing and I never hear from them again. But the last 3 jobs I've gotten I was contacted within 4 hours of leaving the office with offers. I feel like if they want you, they will make it happen =/

with that said...I HOPE YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT!

I hate job hunting...i'm just too modest when it comes to talking about myself, good thing I can just hide behind my portfolio and woo them that way. lol

Quite honestly, I'm stressing out. If I don't get a job or at least some free lance soon I'm gonna have to sell my damn house. It's getting ugly.

My car needs a lot of maintenance and I'm driving it in to the ground because I can't afford to do it. Freakin sucks.

Mortgage gotta be same or better than rent. Take anything for now? Go back to design when you find something?

That's the crappy part. Renting a similar place would cost a lot more than our mortgage because of the dp that we made. But we do have a lot of money available in the house... we'd turn a healthy profit selling it. The house 2 down from me just sold for $220k more than we'd need for pay off. And my house is much nicer and farther along in the upgrades.

Trust me it's the last damned thing I want. Took me 15 years to get back to this area and buy a house.
