Interior Liner Redux

So, I've been planning on redo'ing the interior of my car for a few months now. In specific, the headliner and various pillars. I may just wrap the B pillars in suede... not really thinking that far ahead quite yet, but I do want the overall colors of my Bugeye wagon to flow.
So what does this mean? Well, I'm keeping the stock dark blue wrx seats, cause I like the design and they offer more support then the STi seats (at least my skinny asian *** seems to have that opinion). So I'm thinking of keeping the general color to dark blue/black.

I've yet to take the pillars apart to fully access the ceiling panel, so that I can strip it and throw the new material down (with some mega strong 3M spray adhesive)... but that's the general plan. The only hiccups I seem to be coming accross, is that all of the material designs I'd like to use end up not being wide enough to cover the entire ceiling panel. Not only that, but I need to account for at least an extra inch to overlap the back of the panel, as well as accounting for the curvature and grooves in the panel.

Here's what I've found so far:

Japanese fabric jacquard, knit/ jersey, suede, wool

I actually ordered and recieved a test piece that I originally wanted to use, but the Japanese guy that sells this design only had a few yards available (maybe I'll end up using it for a Shift boot???)

...By the way, if you guys are looking for some sick japanese designs for something smaller (such as a DIY shift boot), definately check out what this guy has to offer.

Anyways, has anyone actually redone their Headliner on a WRX wagon or Sedan? I've seen a few threads lying around. Any suggestive input on the whole process would be helpful.

This summer I wrapped my headliner with black pho swede from Beverly's ~30$ for more than enough material. I used 3m spay adhesive glue and it still sticks great! Instead of wrapping my pillars, I used plastidip which is still holding up well. The whole process took maybe 4-5 hours and around 45$ total.

I like the fabric! If you don't have enough material you can do panels or something. Perhaps some sections of tuck and roll? Depends on how got at sewing you are.

Thanks for the advise guys. I think I may brave Joanne Fabrics (last time I pulled up to the entrance, all I saw was PINK... and then proceeded to do a U-turn with my spoiler between my legs, LOL).
Otherwise I'm definitely going to make a shift boot out of the Triple-Tomoe design (the 3rd picture) aka Taiko Drum motif.
